I would check the Scangauge and vehicle OBD connectors to make sure there are no bent/pushed back pins or sockets! The best time to clear codes is to do it immediately after turning the ignition off and then back on to the first position again (within the timescale of the Scangauge shutting down period)! If you have a second vehicle try the Scangauge on that!
With regards to the remaining symptoms you describe having downloaded 97 pages of fault codes from Dgardel's site myselfi and if your Scangauge is reading codes you should be able to read them to clarify what's wrong!!! The codes from the fault will be stored in your ECU. Post the codes up here or 'pm' Dgardel or download them yourself and all will hopefully be explained! Cheers - will have a fiddle with the plug and try again with the timing you suggest.
Thing is though, after losing power/electrics/batt warning light and then going back to normal there were no fault codes. Only one registering is the MAF sensor which was there before. This is why it stumped me! |

Also baffles me too! If it was a genuine fault one would expect some codes I would have thought? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
