RAL 2004 orange in the end, it appears to be similar enough to the G4 orange so I'm happy Hopefully things will pick up a bit now and I can get on with the body swap.

White wolfs are all you can get on a standard 130 from the factory no alloy options as not up to the weight specs |

Well, after a very early start before work today I managed to get the final coat of orange on the tub, not the best finish in places but I'm not building a show piece.

Managed to get some more bits painted yesterday afternoon, that's the first batch of spraying done (orange outside and black interior). Starting to take the old body off today, then it's time to line up all the new shiny panels before I do the doors, wings and roof.

Think it's time for a progress update! Been held back by silly little bits and work but we're making progress now! Deadline is a month away so I feel a lot of late evenings approaching! Still looking for a final few bits if anyone had an air con grill or door check straps..
Click image to enlarge I'm not sure whether to just re-fit the original matt black wheel arch spats to save time or go the whole hog and spray them gloss black :? Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
