Hi Guys, I'm from South Africa as you can see, yes yes Zumaland...anyway I've been battling to find the double din fascia kit with the switch plate that doesn't have that huge hole in it, for the life of me I can't understand how that is the most produced version of the kit. Anyway I see above that the manufacturer is based in Germany, could someone please tell me what the companies name is or direct me to a website of a company that stocks the fascia kits like the one above. I'd prefer to find one in Matt Black if possible, also our Defenders generally don't have heated seats (its never that cold here) so I'd need to find a kit that doesn't have the holes for the dial on the left.
If someone could help me out with this that would be AMAZING!!! I've been searching for years...literally. Lekker thanks guys! |

Did you try Twisted? I have seen a few off their conversions without the large hole. Andy

You just cut it off and file smooth.
Alternatively mount the relocated switches on your cubby and you don't need to cut up the dash, that seems to be becoming the preferred method. |

A paint shop could fill it with filler, smooth and repaint the piece.
To be honest I have the switch plate and now thinking about it if I could have it done again it would be integrating the switches to the cubby box, looks cleaner and OEM. |

That does make a lot more sense, does anyone have a picture of the buttons mounted on the cubby box? I did Google it with no luck.
Also I did email Twisted about their fascia, but I haven't got a reply, so I don't think they're too interested. |

From memory the Twisted double din was over £500. You're probably better off getting a double din fascia for £230 and fitting the other switches in the cubby? James

Have a look at mcma1's Corris 110 thread above, he has images showing the whole install.
