I'm not overly wiring minded but it wasn't as difficult as I thought once I set to it. I think a nato plug has more wires but might be wrong. I used the three junction boxes as it seemed the only way to make the whole setup tidy with no wires being exposed everywhere. I'm going to add a third high level brake light to the back of the trailer and a switchable light for the frame so can wire in an LED to light the tub when its dark. The boxes I ordered either from eBay or one of the various automotive electrics websites. Just search around until you get the cheapest.

ps. I'll take pictures of all the boxes and the coloured wires and you could just copy the setup. Essentially matches the diagram above. The only thing I couldn't get my head around was the earth wiring in the diagram but as long as the earth return wire goes back to the main box which it will it all works fine and dandy. Given me the confidence to tackle the landy now!
