Snorkel
Is it quite easy to remove the snorkel from a Defender? Personally I think Defender's look better without them so I wanted to ditch the snorkel on mine. I imagine I need the black plastic grill to cover the hole but will removing the snorkel damage the bodywork along the driver's windscreen edge?

You may have drill holes in the wing and the a-pillar but other than that it should be straight forward. You may find that there is a proper waterproofing connection on the inside of the wing which may protrude and thus need removing but that's unlikely. The other thing is any sealant around the vent may need to be cleaned off or cut away to remove the snorkel in the first place, you may be able to to this with a cheese wire type device.
It should just unbolt and lift away though if it's a puma.

Cheers
Michael
