12v feed behind R/S rear speaker panel purple +ve, black -v
Is the unused 12v feed plug behind the R/S rear speaker panel (purple +ve, black -ve) a fused supply and if so where is the fuse located?

Cheers. Steve.

If it's the same as a PUMA 90 then the fuse is under the drivers seat. Once the fuse is in it then makes that connector at the rear perm live 110 D250 SE HT

Gotcha, I'll go and have a look. Mine is live all the time so looks as though the fuse is already in.

Thanks for that Thumbs Up Steve.

so was mine. i think on the older vehicles 07/08 the fuse needed to be added. 09 onwards they seem to already have it fitted. Cheers

What do you guys wana do with this 12 V supply? What is the fuse rated at? Dont wana burn the wire before the fuse fails. Would be great to get a 12 V supply that's already wired up!

I fitted a cigarette style receiver in the speaker panel. I then used this for running my coolbox and I had some exterior lights on an extension lead. 110 D250 SE HT

One should be carefull. I've heard of people melting wires pulling 4 amps on fridges where the wires just isn't thick enough. I'm planning a DIY dual battery system. I installed one before in a cruiser. Taking 16mm^2 wires to the back to run my fridge (pulling bour 40 wat max), and everything else. That extra 12V for running small stuff though will be sweet!

Coolbox not fridge.
On my D3 I ran some big cables to the rear to an aux fuse box to run the fridge. 110 D250 SE HT

My 57 is fused already.

It's a good supply for a rear work light. I assumed it was intended for that although a lot of people add aux sockets. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
