Hi Mark,
Not sure where you are planning on going but I would not worry. We went across the Australian deserts with windows and vents open. Everything got coated in red dust, (Still finding it!) Just ensure that air can flow into the compressor. Brendan |

H'mm, if you would seriously want to filter the dust you would have to use a piece of foam in the inlet vent that I think really would be restrictive and impaire air flow... May you can carry out some measurements with a small temperature probe inside the compressor compartment to check the inluence of the restricted air flow. May be you can replace the fan with one having more flow - just some thoughts, I do not have experience with these matters. Cheers, Vincent

A piece of proper filter media would be more suited to the job than foam
