Thanks for the response but Chorley is an hours drive for me so need somewhere local if possible.
Iv got a fault with my drivers electric window at the moment, works some days then doesn't another. Probably a lose connection somewhere or wiring fault gonna see if I sort it myself when i get a chance but need a garage in case I cant sort it. Other than that mostly just for servicing or if nothing else goes wrong as I dont fancy splashing out on Main Dealer prices. |

I've heard good things about landyman and similar things ^ about the LRcentre.
Although the fault could be any number of things, have a peek at where the wires pass between the door pillar and the door - in the rubber sleeve. They often break in there. It's an easy repair and may save you some pennies. |

Please post back how you got on with Landyman. I took mine there when I first bought it and paid him to give it a once over for me and advise on a few things, he may be a good mechanic but he had no idea how the diff lock worked. I was not convinced that it was working as the light was not coming on but he looked at it and proved it was working by pushing the lever to the left and seeing if the vehicle could still drive.
Had a good look myself a few weeks later by taking tunnel cover off and found out it wasn't working as linkage wasn't moving enough. Proved it by raising one of the wheels and spinning it. Stripped, greased and rebuilt and adjusted the linkage. Difflock light now illuminating and wheel no longer spinning. As I said, he may be a good mechanic but after he couldn't diagnose the simple fact the difflock wasn't working on mine, I haven't used him since. Seems to have in mainly Range Rovers and Disco's whenever I have been passing. |

My mate got a service from LandyMan yesterday and was well impressed! Said he knew his stuff and has a td5 himself! Hes getting his clutch replaced by him now so il see how that goes. So think im gonna be using him from now on. Reasonably priced from what my mate was saying too |

Glad you sorted the electric window fault
It's good to hear that the service by Landyman was a positive experience. It'd be interesting to know if he offers the option of genuine LR parts for the service and at what sort of cost. Do let us know how your mates clutch replacement goes |
