Actually - if you phone Dan at Duckworth's he dues the kit cheaper (the one in my 1st post above) than the web price for DEFENDER2.NET members
From memory £78 including VAT and delivery...I just ordered one last week, it arrived yesterday
Compares to the Craddocks one (£38 + vat + delivery) it won't be that dissimilar price-wise... At least considering you only buy a "B" kit every 2nd year and an "A" kit in between.
you get:
1. genuine kit... and
2. support a forum sponsor
If I was looking at a 2nd hand Defender, and the seller produced receipts for original parts, I would feel better about the service history than non-gen. IMHO the £20 saved over the cost of a year doesn't balance against the peace of mind. But now lots of other subscribers will disagree Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
