reduced the turning circle by a considerable amount by adjusting the bolts underneath, even without spacers on my wheels... Massive difference recommend everyone does it! Mine moved in about 1cm and no catching of any sort

Took my transfer box out and took it to the gearbox guy to get it converted to 1.211

I've finally finished of my "silver and black" theme on the 90.
I've had the roof re-sprayed in black and my spare set of 17" Predator wheels re-furbed and powder coated black but the old wheel nuts, (specific to the Predators,) were a bit rusty and shabby looking, so I ordered a set of shiny new ones, I quite like the look myself, I think it just adds a little contrast to an otherwise large mass of black. Yes it's cheapo but I bought it about 30 years ago and that's the first one that's broken. I pulled a clutch off a Mini and forgot to take the locating key washer thingy and snapped the puller. I had a long arm breaker bar, the arm off the trolley jack and 100kg of me hanging off it, it was OK for that. But that might not have been the 21mm. I have a load of King Dick in the garage, I'll have a rummage through those and see if I have a 21mm, if not I'll take your advice. |

?? 6 point sockets are best for tough nuts,but still need a quality brand, Sealey have always been best for me.12 point like yours,Halfords at a minimum,Gedore are my ultra favourite tho,beautifully made and mega tuff.I guess snap on for the win

Picked it up from the bodyshop where its had the roof repainted, then rewired and fitted my 40" led lightbar 2004 TD5 Defender 90 xs station wagon

Fitted a pair of speakers into the MudStuff speaker pods, ran the wire to the radio using OFC.
Removed the radio only to discover that there are only 4 wires on the ISO connector for the speakers. The two front speakers occupy those wires. Need to replace plug & splice/solder new ISO plug or find a way of inserting new connectors into the ISO plug.
