A meander through the Karoo SWAMBO & I went on a little meander through the Karoo, visiting Sutherland, Matjiesfontein, Swartberg, and Barrydale. The wife and I are off to SA this Thursday, picking up a rental car (unfortunately not a Defender) in Johannesburg, driving down to the Drakensberg, then making our way down to Barrydale to see her uncle, then onto Cape Town for 3 days, then back to Johannesburg. Really looking forward to a road trip. All in all 10 days out there.

John, make sure you pack lots of warm clothes, it has started snowing already in the Drakendberg.
