See my thread with pics - I had to get a tow hitch that gave enough clearance to open the back door. I have been using the thule towbar mounted rack with upto 4 bikes, for 3 years now on a variety or LR and RR, and is truly reliable, and is 2 mins to mount.

Just remember that you will need a 1" thick spacer (You get this from MaxxRax for £17) to allow the plate to clear the metal hoops on the tow bar if you have the one like mine. |
