Whats it for ?
On the front of a 110 below the bumper is a tube for want of a better discription but not on a 90 whats it do ? 2.4 90 XS
1968 1/32 scale Britains 109 Pick up.

They are an option on both the 110 and 90 - a £90sh option ISTR

The are the underride protection bar - a scafolding type tube spanning the width of the chassis with a v bar that connects to the chassis, sitting just infront of the steering rod. Mike

It also appears to be made out of steel tube as soft as toilet paper rolls. It only took me 2 weeks to bend my one Sad

I replaced the same item on the Disco with an after market thicker walled version.

I regard it as being a disposable item like a tissue.... use it and throw it away after it has done its job Mahn

Mine a 110 have it

Some times this pieces are designed like a fuse to not damage other parts like the wear sleeves in some machines.

Replacing it for a heavy one could be a problem transfering the possible damage to another more expensive parts. (just a though).
