Rear sliding window removal?

Is it possible to remove the rear sliding Windows on a station wagon? I've been told you have to replace all the frame with the glass in it, but that sounds a bit excessive just replace the glass . Anyone tried such a thing?

Indeed, you have to remove the window frame from the body and separate the frames to replace the glass:

I believe puma windows are bonded in and not riveted in. I can't see how it would be possible to cut through any bonding from the outside without damaging the paint. Unless it can be done from the inside?

For the Puma you have to cut thru the bonding on the inside, see this page, point 6.. Cheers, Vincent

Cheers. Looks s nightmare. Don't like the way he is cutting around the outside of the frame too.
