They are filtered green, only changing filters can change the colour.

Are they removable? I could probably get replacements cut at work if they are and fit some new leds

I did look into this too, but seemed to be a whole lot of hassle?
I ended up filtering the UG screen, which was far easier. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

I've searched for images of the clocks split down but not had much luck, if the green filters are removable then I can manufacture clear ones at work with ease.

They are spot hot melted IIRC.
With the clock it would need to be taken apart first to see, pretty sure no one has taken it apart. Not that I have heard of anyway |

Sounds fairly straight forward then, drill off old screens, glue new ones on, change bulbs?

It has definitely been done on the centre dash so I don't see a problem.
Give it a go. |

As far as leds go do you have any suggestions? I think I'll get a spare set and take them to work next week

Well I much prefer SMD chip style LED's but I'm not sure if you'll find them suitable for this application.

Having looked into this a lot more, I'm going to take the easy way out and use green filters over the ultragauge as I'm going to fit the check temp in the clocks as well and that doesn't illuminate white sadly, everything must match!!
