Brake fluid in PAS
Good morning all
Recently my hand brake light started flickering usually going downhill.I then,in a blonde moment, proceeded to add brake fluid but started to put about 50-80 ml in to the power steering reservoir instead of the brake res.[In the end I did top up the brake res].My question now is - do I have trouble on hand or need I to drain the PAS and refill or approach the bank manager?
Thanks to all
Maarten

Drain it out immediately, fill with the correct stuff, bleed, then drain again and re-fill.

It won't cause a sudden failure but may have damaged the seals (pump & box) so keep an eye out for any leaks starting.

Good luck Thumbs Up
