Have a good chat with the owner before offering any money, that should give you a good idea how clued up he/she is on the current inflated market, and pitch your offer accordingly. Looking at the pics, it does look like a nice clean example that wld respond wonderfully to a good wash and chassis treatment. Good luck with it. 2006 TD5110 station wagon

Needs a back crossmember. Bulkhead looks like it's picking on the passenger side. Back door stuffed. £1800-£2000 if it drives ok if it was my money.

If the chassis is good and no holes in the bulkhead, a one owner regularly service 300tdi has to be worth more....
If you land it for 2k you have got yourself a good bargain but get under it and have a good poke around it before parting with any cash. N. |

I'm going to agree with him ^ Any less than £2k for it is a steal I have been offered 90's in much, much worse condition for significantly more than £2k. The last one was a V plate 90 truck cab, with a rotten chassis, and not a straight panel on it for £3.5k. I turned it down. It sold within 30 minutes of me leaving |

I thought 300tdi's were only made until 1998?

300Tdis were made until 2006 at least in ROW spec for export. Some found their way back to the UK, or never left, and got registered.
