A chance anyone can recommend some beeches near the picos where you can drive safely onto the beech?
Would like to find so nice beeches where we can set up for the day? Hoping to be heading back this summer. Can't wait. |

didn't make it back last year but ferry is booked for this year.
We've got a week booked in the Picos and trying to decide where to head for the 2nd week. I thinking within a 200-300 miles radius and I'm inclined to head away from the Pyrenees simply because we headed that way last time. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. |

I'll recomend you to face west and discover Asturias or the north of Leon. Astonishing landscape, and in a short space high mountains and beautiful beaches. You wont forget how you eat there !
https://www.turismoasturias.es/en/home-en. When in Potes don't forget to visit this place, the mirador of Santa Catalina, easy to find. https://goo.gl/maps/aMvqTephiFQ2 Last edited by Tombte on 6th Feb 2017 9:25pm. Edited 1 time in total |

thank you very much Tombte.
I'll have a good look through the websites - I'm sure I'll be back with some questions in due course. |
