OK... that looks chilly.
When does it start to warm up? Im wanting to do the RB5 route so I guess a lot of that is unaccessible in snow. Ross |

Don't bother, until at least the end of April, begining of May.
The high routes will be un passable, due to snow. I go regularly,as early as possible in the year,so the trails are more challenging, fallen trees,(take a chainsaw)landslides & washouts.(take a shovel). If you want some company I'll be going the last week in April. This was the first week in May last year, the snow was like concrete & impossible to dig. Click image to enlarge Marc |

Great info. Thanks.
Unfortunately I will be away working then so I won't be able to do it. Then we have new baby due July so looks like It will have to wait for next year. |
