2 colleagues and myself were very lucky to survive the bombing. I was in the departure hall when these lunatics were already there, not knowing it. I deposed my luggage on check in line 2 where a few moments later the second bomb exploded. At the moment of explosions my flight left the airport only 5-8 minutes earlier.

Our thoughts and support go to all families and friends of the victims and to the Belgian healthcare services who are fighting every second to do anything necessary to help recovering all injured whatever color, religion or nationality.

Don't listen to what the press is saying, Our government, Police and armed forces have done and still are doing miracles to avoid worse.

I just collected my Defender from the car park of the Brussels Airport. I will never forget the quietness, lack of kerosene smells and being perfectly organised and guided to my Land Rover in a deserted parking space. Nobody talked during the shuttle ride to the airport parking.

Thanks for all your support. Our flag on Downing Street 10 besides your Union Jack at half post... Thanks. And believe me Belgian is still a great place to visit and also to have a wonderful life. More then ever proud to be a Belgian.

Just lost a friend who succumbed to injuries today.
The rest of the family still in hospital.
My thoughts and prayers for all the others who were affected by these events.

Sad times.
I feel very sorry for ALL those affected.

I feel that people need to wake up and realise that contrary to what the do gooders try to preach ain't working. Sure there's always exceptions but just look at what's going on - integration of different faiths and back grounds does not work.

You'll no doubt try and suggest otherwise but the foreigners don't want to integrate - they still want all their heritage ie mosques, burqas etc. Go build a Christian Church in many places in the world and you'll be stoned to death for the footings are dug.

Call me racist but actually I have several good friends of different ethnic back grounds but it just so happens they're westernised ?

Why should Londoner's have to travel in fear when a foreign looking persons jumps on with a large rucksack?

Things will change but when?

I think so but then I am biased.

I do think things will get sorted (hence my last comment) but what exactly that will look like, with how much pain before or when I have no idea.

Look at the middle east and Europe it's a mess and indeed a very sad state of affairs.

A realist means that you agree it will never get resolved. No political courage to do what needs to be done.

Doesn't mean that in my case Eric, and it certainly does not mean that I don't think about it.
From conversations I've had with people, in person, & on Forums like this, I reckon I think about it more than most.
How would "things" be resolved?....Wouldn't have a clue. And, the way things are going, and I'll let everybody have their own thoughts & views on "how things are going", We mightn't like the outcome.
So, Eric, how would you "resolve" these issues, and what do you think the eventual outcome will be?
Pickles.
