Puma defenders on modular steels
Right, having thought about what to do wheel wise on the 110, I'm considering buying a set of 16 x 8" modular steels. However I'm struggling to find pictures of puma defenders on modulars. Does anyone run steels?

I'm also unsure as to what offset would be best. Et0 or et-35? I have a feeling the -35's will poke out far too much (I'll be running with 285/75/16's)

Standard suspension and arches Thumbs Up

-35 would certainly poke out. I'm running (not on a puma) 285s on a 16x7 et-25 rim and they poke. 8" with -35 would really be too far in my opinion to talk your way out of a ticket on the side of the road.

Also I've had several sets of modulars. In my experience it really doesn't take much to buckle them. My first set were out of shape after light off roading. If you've got the money for a puma then I'd find the money for some decent wheels.

I run a set with BFGs mud terrains for the winter.
But prefer my sawtooths with BFGs all terrains which I use in the better weather.
If you look in my gallery you should find pictures of the modulars Thumbs Up

I had a feeling the -35 would be too much on the standard arches. I don't fancy putting too much strain on the wheel bearings either, so not having them quite as far out will help to some degree.

I've had a set of modulars on my disco for over a year and done some quite serious off reading, they're absolutely fine? I even knocked a wheel hard off a rock and popped the tyre off the wheel and that ones still good. I can't remember where I ordered them from though unfortunately.

I'm just trying to picture what modular steels would look like on this;

My other option was to just get some 30mm spacers for the boosts but I'd like them painted black

I would use the AT's in the winter and muds in the summer, 1997 Defender 90 300tdi
