I recently ordered the Nakatanenga stainless steel bolt set. I now realise I don't have the skills, time, tools or patience to do this job (pathetic I know).
Is there any Defender2 member that would like to do the job - I would obviously pay the going rate. I'm in Peaslake, Surrey and don't mind travelling up to say 20 miles. Alternatively someone could come to me - I have some space and a garage to work undercover. I'm not in any rush and the job could be done over several weeks/evenings to suit. Otherwise could anyone recommend a garage anywhere near me with experience of this job? |

![]() Or Tef Gel which is also a one hit wonder - galling/galvanic/seizing. Duralac is fine for the protection against galvanic corrosion in isolation, and it is good stuff, but as stated its not used to prevent galling/seizing. ![]() Hope you find someone to fit the bolts. Best of luck! |

Thank you for comments and recommendations! No Def2 member fancies giving this a go?

I'm sure someone will make you an offer - were a friendly, helpful bunch on here.
If you were (significantly) closer, I'd lend a hand. To be honest, maybe you should give it a go yourself, guided by the good advice available here. You could approach it in stages and purchase the tools as you go. You'd certainly get a great deal of satisfaction when the job is done ![]() Why not start with the rear crossmember bolts - there's plenty of guidance and advice on here already? |
