I have a 12 volt VDO tachograph and speed drive to suit a TDCI Defender, its still fitted to my vehicle and you are willing to see it working or I will make a photograpic record of its removal.
Its less than 12 months old and works fine, I will try to set it to 0 KMS if possible! but this can be done by any tacho centre. Once fitted you will need to get it sealed and calibrated by a VOSA centre, this takes 30 mins and costs about £45. It cost me £1300 fitted last year I am looking for £600 with the option to by a down load key for £150 if required. http://www.dtco.co.uk/generator/www/uk/en/...ts_en.html http://www.vdoshop.co.uk/acatalog/Solution...r-Kit.html If you tow any medium or large trailer for your bussiness for more than 25 miles this is a legal requirement. http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/freight/road/wor...w=Standard I could arrange to pack it and send it in the UK for £10 if required. |
