Excellent, are you booking the tents out? Please put me down for a tent and two spaces for fold up chairs in the beer tent Mr. Green

TC, howling moon do an awning with sides, you can also add oztent sides to the foxwing i believe.
Buy the sproggs a couple of pop up tents, much cheaper!

Apparently, leaving the children in a fisher price my first tent isn't an option......I suggested leaving them with the mother-in-law.....this was received about as well as a cup of warm sick.

The foxwing taking oztent sides makes sense......

I like the finished look of the hannibal with tourer kit, but am not sure it will give us all the sleeping space we need. I have been known to have the odd tipple or crate, now that Ken has pointed out that the foxwing isn't an awning but in fact a beer den, this has confused matters further.

TC, I use an Army basha (£35) with some bunge cords and some oztent adjustable poles. Connect this to the roof rack with the bunge's and we can put it on either side of the vehicle and alter it to prevent driven rain etc (as per second pic), I have brought another basha to connect to the bottom of the roof tent so I have cover from the front of the vehicle up to the ladder of the roof tent Thumbs Up just an idea, cheap, and takes 5 minutes to put up or down and works a treat and has other uses Mr. Green

Thx steve Thumbs Up

The Basha already has eyelets and strong webbed loops down all four sides. I use 4" bunges which are used to fix (monoflex) sheeting around scaffolding, put the bunge's throught the webbed stiched loops and around the side of the rack. Holds the Basha in so tight and close to the rack no rain or water gets in behind it. There are also webbed straps running across the Basha in the middle so I run the horizontal oztent pole through this to stop any sagging. We had some proper rain in the ALPs and Lakes and it worked a treat, you can mess about with the pitch or angle of the basha, moving the poles up and down and adjusting the guide ropes, also acted as a privcy screen or wind break when we did not need an awaning. we wild camped in Switzerland in a forest and I tied it between two trees to hide the vehicle from any onlookers, so many uses Laughing

Further more the Basha is 2.3m wide so perfect for a full length rack Thumbs Up

Beadlockers
Ken, I'm doing a 2" lift soon and changing my wheels to the same beadlockers you have. Have you any issues with rubbing or did you have to fit spacers? John
