Sorry guys I haven't had a lot of time to get on here lately

Stiff1: I'll put photo's up of it closed for you tomorrow Thumbs Up The glove box came from 'My Land Rover'

http://www.mobilestoragesystems.net/land-r...s-pgb.html

R500DEF: Thanks for the comment 'Great Thread' Thumbs Up
I think they had the best in terms of quality and I looked at most that were available. The hinge on this one is the best I've seen it's a full length piano hinge. The metal has a decent powder coating which looks and feels nice and the lid has a flush fit. I'll put some photo's of it up tomorrow Thumbs Up

bpman: I like the sound of fitting power and USB within it - any photos? Mr. Green

Stiff1: I'll put photo's up for you tomorrow Thumbs Up

RRUK: Welcome back mate Thumbs Up I've been emailing Alive re-full suspension set up, remap, (thinking about Stainless sports exhaust mines a little rusty here and there so good enough excuse as long as it isn't load! i'd like to hear one before I make a decision) Black roof lining fully fitted £300 Thumbs Up I'm very interested to see that! They want my 90 for 2 to 3 days to complete everything so that would mean either driving it there, train back or getting it delivered there and getting a train up to pick it up.... We are still in talks regarding total coast Wink

Have you got the window deflectors? Do you like them...?? 2010 Defender 90 HT

I recently fitted Climair wind deflectors to both front doors on my 2015 90. Straight-forward job. However, when the passenger side window is raised, the front of the glass is forced out of its channel toward the interior of the vehicle, about 6-8 cms from the top of the frame. Rear of the window fits and slides okay. Left the window closed to allow the deflector to settle for a week - in hot NZ summer weather - to no avail. Correctly fitted and the driver's side works fine. Just doesn't seem to be sufficient clearance in the passenger door channel. Possibly I need to adjust the channel "rake" but it's otherwise fine. Any ideas?

Not as flush as I thought from the side view I might tinker with it but looks ok from the front seats and is very handy - I'm very pleased with it & would recommend as a top mod Thumbs Up

Laurence, how are you finding the wind deflectors? I think I'm going to remove mine, they just get in the way mostly.

Might keep them for winter and for shoot days for ventilation of the dog.

Any news from Alive?? 2016 D4 HSE

Hi Adam' Yes this a copy of part of an email Alive sent back to me regarding a quote for a list of things I wanted done:

Q:FULL ROOF/HEAD LINING CHARCOAL BLACK ALCANTARA
A:-£550 + Vat for genuine Alcantara or for a similar cheaper material It could be done for £300 + Vat

Adam Like you Alive want my 90 for 2 to three days! How far are you from Alive? I'm looking at a 3 to 4hr drive from Essex! Alive will collect at an extra cost although I've not been brave enough to ask how much as yet! When I purchased my 90 I had it collected from up that way and delivered to Essex, cost me £350 so I don't think that's going to be a viable option for me unless I thin the work down to cover the cost, defeats the object somewhat! Only leaves me with the option of a day by road and train to deliver and the same to collect! Spending a few days up there isn't going to be cost effective or viable due to work commitments Banging Head
CSK Automotive are not far from me they can do the Alive remap for me which I'm going to book in to have done in the next few weeks I'm just not sure about the distance thing with Alive now! 2010 Defender 90 HT

They are not as far from me.

IF I do go down this route of suspension and remap, it will not be till the summer. I have other more pressing things to spend money on (not my cars for once!) 2016 D4 HSE

One other option is the VB full air suspension......

http://www.vbairsuspension.com/en/page/sol...ion4c.html

But at £5,286+VAT although I'd love to have it and it would mean I could get my Defender in to my garage it comes in a bit rich for the likes of me! Somebody with technical skill like yourself Adam I suspect you could fit one using Range Rover air suspension parts a lot cheaper!! 2010 Defender 90 HT

Going back to your post on DRL bumpers - did you go ahead with the pre-used bumper and ebay lights? How did it go and turn out?

Thanks
