Defender 130 double cab conversion
Hi all my first post so be gentle. I'm currently converting my 130 pick up to a double cab going the whole hog with new 300tdi, galv chassis and bulkhead new tdci doors, roof, rear bulkhead etc. I have some 110 double cab b pillars just wondering what the difference is compared to the 130. Is it possible to modify them to fit?

Can't seem to find any pictures of how they attach to the rear bulkhead if anyone has a picture I would really appreciate it.

Also does anyone know what has to be done to re-register as a double cab?

Thanks
Rob

I am sure the 130 and 110 DC are the same Thumbs Up well I sold both my 130 DC parts to two different blokes that were making 110 DC and neither came back saying that the parts dont fit.

If I get chance tomorrow I will have a look at Longshanks and our 110 DC and see if there is a difference. 130's have feeling's as well you know Smile

Sides, back of cab (above bulkhead), and roof are the same. The floor area under the rear seat is different since the 130 doesn't have the upsweep to the chassis of the 110, and the 130 rear lower cab also has the lower bulkhead (which is part of the 110 rear tub). The 130 also has the infill panels where the 110 rear wheelarch starts.

So everything except the bits below and behind the rear seats are the same.

Thanks for the info. I put the panels on the chassis today just to see how things sit and it all makes sense now!!
