Very happy with my 265 KO2s, look the business and grip very well. Slightly heavier steering at low speeds due to wider tyre footprint but not really an issue.

Great tyres, little extra noise compared to the Continentals. Seem to have decent wet weather grip and looking forward to experiencing their off road capabilities shortly. King of ATs. '65' plate Defender XS 110 Station Wagon

Defenders, especially 90s tow so so much better on 265s. I find the 235s are way too squirmy with anything over 2 ton on the hitch

You wouldn't like our cattle float, that's the full 3.5t of moving cow behind a Defender on 7.50s

Any photos of these fitted? Ideally on black boosts and 2 inch lift as that's what I've got and am considering these.

I run the BFG KO2 all terrain (265x75) on my 110 Utility. I have them because I travel to Germany in the winter and these tyres have the mountain snowflake symbol and thus are are "winter tyre" compliant for continental Europe. They are also so much quieter on tarmac than my Wrangler MT/Rs. In deep snow the MTRs would be just fine, on frosty, icy tarmac, I find the KO2s much safer.
Off road, deep sticky mud or soft sticky sand will defeat the KO2s, the tread pattern will simply fill with mud and it is like driving on racing slicks, you will get stuck! Whereas the MT/Rs will go on. There are some who would argue that the Wranglers are more robust on rocky terrain, I cannot say this, I have been of road in Wales where my KO2s did just fine on the rock. As long as you are not going to be in deep, sticky mud and spend time on tarmac, I am sure you will be very happy with the KO2s. Life is a compromise, where are you going to spend most time? |

Just wondering did the 265s affect your turning circle? Or did you adjust the lock stops? Do the 235s have a better turning circle?
Cheers! |

Hi Tomm, whatever wheel and tyre combination you are running adjust the lock stop so tyres just miss the radius arms.
The turning circle is restricted by a combination of width of tyre, diameter of tyre and offset of the actual wheel rim. On any given wheel rim, offset figure the larger the tyre diameter the worse the turning circle, ditto width of tyre. Brendan |

Thanks Brendan - I'm planning on upgrading my standard conti's with bfg at on the standard boost rims. So as the offset remains the same but the tyre width will increase this will reduce turning circle right? Apologies if this sounds basic just trying to get my head around it.
