If it is stiff to open, try lifting the swinging part off the pivot and cleaning and lubricating the pivot. Mine opens really freely.

It has crossed my mind to add a grease nipple or two to the pivot.

Patriot sell a ladder that clears the wheel carrier and standard ones can be modded to fit Thumbs Up

When you say clear, how so? How would you mod to fit the standard ladder? (I have a DC so need the twin ladder rack)

When looking at th R/H ladder the L/H upright is cut away at tub height on the Patriot one, but we mod it so there are stiil 2 uprights to the chassis Thumbs Up

If you got the ladder un coated the mod would cost about £50 plus about another £20 to have it coated, all this is if you have a carrrier Whistle

If this is still for sale I would take it.

Is NW 10 London? or North West England, may have to detract the offer
