I know we shouldn't get political on forums (aside from political forums, I assume), but this is worth posting from today's PMQs:
Cameron to Corbyn: 'Put on a proper suit, do up your tie and sing the national anthem' Hurrah. Wonderful stuff. Cue non Tory responses.... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

This is not a political statement but you must admit that Corbyn is not the best dressed politician in Westminster. At least Milliband always looked smart (at least from the neck down). Defender 90XS SW

That's how to sort the country out. Worry about what clothing the opposition is wearing

I thought the PM's behaviour was disgraceful. Zero class. Making fun of someone attire who isn't as wealthy as himself is not how a PM (of any party) should behave. He dodged an extremely important question about the NHS and became an entitled, spoilt bully and made fun of someone not as well off. It's his responsibility to answer for the government's actions, not to use Trump like tactics of playground bullying and class war.

Childish, as are these threads.
I suppose mentioning that he had the wrong kind of tie would have been too revealing. Steve. Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. I despair that the people who are meant to be running my country would rather waste time slagging each other off than trying to actually run the country.
I'd expect more maturity out of a bunch of Primary school kids than that regularly displayed during PMQ's |

The question was made personal when Labour questioned the PM's mothers involvement in treatment of patients at weekends. If you start the mud slinging be prepared to duck or you will get covered. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

My reading of the story is that the PM's mother had signed a petition against the plans and this is why she was mentioned. My point is that the PM's behaviour was appalling. My comment has nothing to do with party politics. It's just not the way a PM should behave and it is his responsibility to answer the question posed about the NHS. |

Whether you like a person or not, it shouldnt be about what they wear or how they look, politics is not the movies or fashion.
Its about the policy and courage of their conviction - now whatever you think or Crobyn, Farage etc (and im not sure i like either and Cameron for that matter), the fact that the former 2 have their view/opinion and policy and stick true to it...rather than most of the conservatives who dont really have a view, pick, choose, change their view and when challenge insult rather than stand by it, if its really back resorting to an apology is far worse. Lets focus on substance not style Mike |

i do agree, he could do with tidying himself up a little bit, if you went into the bank or something to someone dressed half arsed you wouldn't be too impressed..
he is trying to get elected to run a country? imagine him turning up at a summit, he would look highly out of place. |

Unfortunately the name calling and jibes from Mr Cameron seem to be an insecurity and an attempt to deflect attention from the fact that he is either unwilling or unable to answer the questions being posed!! I would expect better than name calling and finger pointing from our most senior politician, then again maybe this gives an insight on his character 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon
