Adam, Dead simple to fit about 20 seconds a side! Put the widow down & wedge them in! The hardest part is bending them to fit in the window space you think they are going to snap but the quickest mod to date and really nice quality I fitted them in the rain and went straight out to road test them! They worked really well with the window about a third down no rain blowing in at all. Because the windows are quite small it dose inhibit you if like me you want to lean out of the window when parking to keep an eye on the extended wheel arches. I'm very pleased with both the way they look and the way they keep the weather out! I'd give them 10/10 on a top mod scale I got them paddocks http://www.paddockspares.com/climair-wind-...-pair.html More mods ordered today..... Glove box http://www.mobilestoragesystems.net/land-r...s-pgb.html and white dials.... http://tmdtuning.com/shop/tmd-white-dials/ 2010 Defender 90 HT The longer I live..... The better I was! |

White dials at night...
The picture shows a green glow around the back of the dial I didn't notice this when driving or when I took the piture? It must be there but I'm sure the camera has enhanced this somewhat. Click image to enlarge Not much diffidence to be honest although I did find them a bit harder to see during twilight hours for about 10/15min due to the numbers etc not showing up as much against white background but once it got dark no difference! The job was quite easy taking off the top of the dial housing unplugging and removing the instrument cluster. Then carefully/gently twisting and pulling off the dials, remove the backing and replace with new then put back together! The whole job took me no longer than 20min The jobs a gooden Its worth remembering that once you unplug the instrument cluster (at the back) the vehicle wont start until you plug it back in. Top Tip Take a picture of what your fuel gauge is reading before taking anything apart! So when you put back together and switch on you can check it returns to the correct reading! 2010 Defender 90 HT The longer I live..... The better I was! |

Glove box mod today... Quite any easy mod although a few choice words were said when drilling and screwing the lower set of screws in that hold the metal base in place!

I fitted a 12v socket in my glovebox, took a feed off the cig lighter socket, then a dual usb plug-in to complete the job

If you have an HT or no rear windows, I guess these are a good way of having a window slightly open for the dog to breathe without compromising security or allowing rain to get in. 2016 D4 HSE
