Not today but yesterday...
Quick 150 mile round trip from home, to work to my parents house to change a headlight bezel on Miss Shaggydogs 110 to satisfy the Mot man, then back home again. Annoyingly I missed it as I was preoccupied with repairing the cross member and side door on the yesterday prior- both of which are now fixed. Today got the good news she has passed so now has a whole year on the Mot! Wohoo! Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

215 mile round trip to collect SEVEN wheels and tyres from Malvern for my new Series IIA V8 in the back of my DCPU. Good job I had the canopy on the back to stop the pile falling out Pete

Took the time to top up the bulkhead cavity wax by removing the top hinge bolt, also added some to the door frames. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Finally got round to replacing the bottom section of the drivers door frame. All back together now, with plenty of cavity wax in the box section. Hopefully it might last a bit longer this time.

Yeah not too bad, cutting the welds and then welding in the repair section so close to the door skin is a bit worrying, but it turned out well 👍🏻. I put a cold wet sponge on the outside of the door skin to keep it cool, and slid a piece of metal between the frame and door skin whilst welding to help with the heat.
