Yeah, the Perentie is a real beast and there isn't really a lot of original Land Rover left in them. From memory, the rear axles are different, the engine is Isuzu, the chassis is obviously radically altered and the bodywork is adapted to the greater width. I think the front axle is original, albeit lengthend at each end. Darren

a quick scan on google images shows a very nice perentie camper conversion, complete with details on the twin rear leaf suspension set up.
did special vehicals ever convert 130s to 6x6? (back of my mind there is an access platform version that has a twin rear axle? |

I saw the video for the first time today, searched for previous threads on the subject knowing I hadn't seen it on the site before, posted, and was inadvertently the second one in the day to post it. Only I could screw up that much after having gone to that much effort to make sure I didn't Oh well, sorry :/ I'll go back in to my corner |
