Oil code on scanguage? what does it mean.
Hello

I have this message on the gauge, looked up on

http://www.datsc.com/tabid/122/OBD-Error-C...fault.aspx

however I don't think its an error as such? do I just need some oil? No other lights on and drives as normal. I guess without the code reader I would be none the wiser at this point but I would like to know what it is.

Thanks

England 2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Santorini Black
This is interesting Stacey007

My 90 has done approx 2900 miles. I had oil service flash up on the odo display.

When I called the Stealers to book it in they said it does not need one, the supplying dealer should have zero'd this.

This could be unrelated but that maybe what you have found, this oil service code. Cheers Simon

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you

It's a user settable alarm in the Ultraguage (it's not a Scangauge, that's something different).

It is there to remind you to change the oil after however many miles, you can set it to whatever you like or disable it. Nothing to do with the Defender.
