Steering stops are arbitrarily set. Always need adjusting.

Nothing wrong with a freelander!
I mean to check my steering stops - as mentioned they are set by science Some blue smoke at start up is common and normal The high range popping out thing could be poorly adjusted linkage - but it could also be driver error, ive seen it pop out a few times when you think its in properly...its a quirk (or charactoristic). my old 300tdi 90 had a really good turning circle. the Puma was rubbish until i adjusted them my self.......now as good as the old 90.
only took about 15 mins and is straight forward. BM52 |

don't adjust the lock stops to far or could over load the c/v joints on full lock 2.4 90 XS
