Hi Russ.....'spirited?' I would have put it more like 'a magical mystery tour at warp speed.' If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

What a convoy indeed! Stunning looking Defenders lead by TJ's legendary Montalcino I was flashing enthusiastically from a green 110 (perhaps a bit over the top) just as you guys joined the A361. Was hoping to join for a coffee at J27 but it took me ages to get Mrs JK out of house so we've just missed you by couple minutes Looks like the meet was a real success Shame we couldn't join. But happened to have a fab afternoon at Eastnor, so not too bad Actually on way up the M5 I saw few other nicely done up Fenders, waving and flashing enthusiastically too, so assuming few more D44 meet up joiners! Well done on the event and great pics MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html MY16 Santorini 90 HT - sold |

Just a quick note to thank you all for coming to Devon 4x4 at the weekend.
We were very lucky with the weather and the rain held off, still a little chilly, glad the drinks and sausage rolls helped. Great to see so many enthusiasts with their pride and joys. Great bunch of people and some fab looking vehicles. Always good to put faces to names. We would love to see you all again - everyone always welcome. Looking forward to seeing the pictures and as requested can I have copies please from Liz and The Team |

Spotted your enthusiastic flashing JK I was in the black 90 just behind Tim. Pitty you could not meet for coffee but come next time I bet the convoy looked great I would loved to have seen it from your point of view, but being part of is was special as Friday was such a sad day .

Indeed, might turn it into a full day thing next time! Fab instructor, taught us some useful basics and the tracks in the woods were stunning - will post some pics on the experience thread. Mrs JK got the bug and she reckons we should use her 90 for offroading
Thank you sir, hardly compares to yours though, but one day We've realised that wifey lives 15 min away from D44, she kept telling me there's a place near her with some great looking Defenders parked outside every day now we know...definitely joining next time!
It was an amazing view - I really hoped we wouldn't have missed you guys somewhere on the roundabout and luckily we haven't You must have turned many heads around! It was indeed quite emotional to see so many Fenders lined up, and the black 90 looked a proper beast I was driving down to Barnstaple from London on Friday afternoon and it felt quite nostalgic every time I saw another Defender on the road - there was also more waving than usual which was nice Even random passers-by where giving me engaged and happy looks! Must have been all the press recently... MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html MY16 Santorini 90 HT - sold |

Good job the weather was pretty decent last Saturday, this Saturday just one week later the weather couldn't be more of a contrast.
