SOUTH WEST MEET - 30/01/2016

Good Moring Ladies and Gents,

As you may have seen I have been looking into organizing a Defender2.net South West Meet for Early 2016 for ALL members who would like to join us to start off the 2016 season.

As you may have seen from one of my other posts, I have been in talks with Devon 4x4, to see if we could hold the meet at there establishment and this morning I have had an email to confirm this will be ok by Simon and Liz Buck, the Owners of Devon 4x4

. They will be laying on Tea and Coffee for us and allow us to have a tour around there site, tell us about some of the history of Devon 4x4 and will answer any questions re products you may have and the Shop will be fully open for any purchases you may wish to make. I know from great experiences that they have most things on the shelf but if not its normally next day delivery along with a possible discounts on the day for D2.net members

Not a bad reason to spend you Christmas money lol

Once we have spent the time at Devon 4x4 we can then move onto a pub or restaurant for some late Lunch or if people want to make there own way on afterwards that’s fine.

Will be the biggest meet we have had on Defender2.net, apart from meeting at the shows, on the basis we have a good turn out, so please put you name down on the list and let’s make this a good one for everyone and to promote the forum.

I have managed to arrange the dates of 30/01/2015 to hold the meet and a Start time of 10:30am

So as this has given you 2 months notice let’s see your names on the list guys and lets all have a good time and i have made the effort for everyone to make a meet a little different so i just hope its a good turn out

Oh go on then!

With so many threads on the subject matter resolve has finally been eroded and have always been interested in visiting D4X4. May be busy with dry-docking Falmouth January and may just pitch up on the day if ok. Cannot commit 100% as it's too far off at the moment.

If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

im in the middle of recovering from full knee replacement and do not know how I will be at that time im due to do the tour on the 14/12/15 at Solihull which could be me on walking sticks and I pick up my boy in late November/December but you know what land rover are like ? so im going to pass on this occasion but thank you

As much as I would like to join you all, that weekend is my 50th birthday and I will either be;

a) In the cold Northern Wastes of Manchester.
b) In Vegas drinking tequila off a h**kers br***ts^
