As some on here will be aware, I have been struggling to get my vehicle running. Trouble started last August and has got steadily worse
I replaced the vcv in September last year but suspect the pressure valve on the rail was gone but did not replace that at the same time. I want to be certain the vcv has not gone again. I have had issues with getting the valve programmed and have now spent £300 or so with diagnostics without a solution. I did change the valve before but cannot for the life of me remember how I got the bolts out. Is there a trick or a combination of tools that allow you to get through the forest of cables and pipes that seem to block the way. Do I have to take out components. Really stumped Tommy 110 XS TDCi |

Done, 4 hours.
Found the best way for me was using a flexible drive to bend round the pipes, an extension 1/4 bar, universal joint and small ratchet. Thanks Tommy 110 XS TDCi |

Did the change do the trick and solve the problem?

Combination of things I think. CHT and VCV changed and its looking positive. When I get the pump learn and pilot correction carried out (hopefully tomorrow) I will be more comfortable undertaking any serious journeys or towing. Tommy
