The headlight switch itself can be prone to failure. A buzzing relay is indicative of the stalk switch issue, it may not manifest itself whilst flashing but in the normal position only. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

After looking this morning it now seems that the issue is a rapid clicking/popping noise coming from area behind right hand led headlight when swith is put on....can't tell it's the light itself. |

Job done, replacement light en route. Bit of a pain but hopefully a one off.

Hi, did you find the cause of the clicking behind the headlight ? mine has just started and only happens when I switch the lights on... not sure why ! have new lights that I have just put in. any help appreciated its driving me nuts !

Hi - I fitted a replacement LED light and the problem didn't return. Light was apparently tested ok so it may possibly have been a wiring irregularity due to fitting.
I'd suggest popping the grill off and checking all your connections carefully. Maybe swap the lights round and see if you still get the same issue? |
