My 2007 Stornoway Grey 90SW Commercial

So I just want to introduce myself:

My name is Alex , and have been driving a Defender pretty much when I had my License.

It all started with my dad and his love for Range Roverīs and Defenders , sadly the old man doesn't fit in the defender so he always went with the Range Rovers instead. Laughing .
My brother actually got a Silver Defender 90SW TD5 from 2003 and we loved it , it had all the bells and whistles but after a towing crash it was sadly written off...

He then got a showroom Green metallic 90 TD5 and we kept it until 2006.
When we heard the PUMA was coming we ordered it as one of the first people in Belgium.
Delivered in late Februari 2007 it was one of the first TD4īs hitting the streets in Belgium

So now after 115k km I still drive it , occasionally its more our leisure vehicle.

Did a lot of roadbooks and greenlaning the first 3 years of owning the thing!

Off course being an early example it came packed with recalls and annoyances.

List of problems I had with the Defender :
ABS SENSOR : 10k
EGR : 16K
Clutch and flywheel exploded : 38k
Recall oilpan : 38k
Recall breathers :38k
4 new injectors : 50k
repainted rear door rust : 84k
Instrument cluster fault : 105k (450euro to repair)


List of mods :
Warn 9.5Ti winch ( had this until 2012 then it died Big Cry )
Expidition roofrack (not on atm)
JW speaker LED lights
RDX lights clear LEDīs
Front LED 2x 36w LED bars
Rear LED 2x 18w LED work lights.
Merino Leather top dash
Padded Merino leather cubby box
LED lights Interior
Windscreen interval mod
Pioneer Avic 7500bt Headunit
Pioneer subwoofer and amp

More mods to come (planning to repair the 9.5Ti) Discovery 4 SDV6 Landmark
