Belize green 110 TD5
Hi,

Had her for over a year now so thought she deserved a thread! Ex plant hire engineering van. Was all good on paper but has had several issues in my ownership.

Dead rear door, now replaced with a puma model.

Coolant leak into the engine. This is documented in another thread but ended up in a full rebuild.

Unfortunately the head evaded the pressure test and still leaked. This ment that last week when I went to check injector clearances I was faced with totally jellied oil throughout the system. This was so thick that it took a week to slop out of the sump.

Not being sure if it's the block or the head that's cracked, and after a long conversation with turner engineering I decided to pick up a replacement engine (2005 60,000 miles with all ancillaries).

I can then carry out a post mortem on the other block and see if it can be saved.

Cosmetically I hate the White stripe and long term plans include a re spray, possibly Keswick.

I have added a mantec snorkel which does not seal so I will be fabbing up a new intake, Devon 4x4 bumper, led lights and crystals, and a set of 255/85/16 on modulars.

Long term plans revolve around long camping holidays so I may well make some accommodation in the back which will be removable.

Not sure about the massi guards and silver grill, may go back to black. What do you think?

Nice! Not new shiny/shiny, an honest truck.
Yeah, as you've asked for opinions....black front end for me.

Yes I got the black ones waiting to go on after I swap the engines. I am actually not sure about the massi light guards themselves.
