I'm a real big fan of the look of the orange defender with the black add-ons, but, having a black 110 I certainly wouldn't re-spray it !!
Anyway I was wondering if anyone had seen the reverse done, i.e a black defender with orange chequer plate, roof rack and so on ? Do you think it would work ? Opinions and abuse welcome ![]() |

It wouldn't be for me, it may look a little..."Halfords' !
How about a full orange wrap? |

You could be right with G4, I'm a novice to this Defender malarkey, anyway, orange bonnet / roof looks pants
![]() Powder coated accessories might work though ![]() |

If you want the ex RAC van look go for it, each to their own as people on here are fond of saying
![]() Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Hello Motoberg
I recently drove a Thor Defender with just a few items given an 'accent' colour less is often more... but as we know for the purists nothing is always best... ![]() ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge I think the Towing Eyes bolted to the Chassis Front and Back have both an aesthetic and practical reason to be signal orange... ![]() https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic83242.html |
