I've not got myself, but was also considering CC and after lots of reading on here had narrowed it down to this one:-
https://www.mobilecentre.co.uk/index.php?m...cts_id=643 Might be a good place to start looking... |

I'm pretty sure there are a number of informative threads on here concerning CC, try the search function. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

I have the Terrafirma/Nakatakenga cruise control on my 2.2. There is a version for the 2.4. Fantastic piece of kit. Has worked faultlessly.
You should find a couple of threads about cc´s on here. One of the best mods you can fit, as long as you use your Defender for motorways, holidays, and any longer journeys. So much more relaxing. Hi Kev
I purchased a cruise control a couple of weeks ago from Tim at mobile centre, he is on the forum and he gave me a good def2 discount. Like yourself I'm an enthusiastic amateur particularly when it comes to electrics, there is an excellent write up with photos on here by jimz. I fitted it last Sat all in it took me three hours to install and with the jimz write up it becomes easier and quite straight forward. The difference is night and day, well worth the effort, and simple to operate when fitted. |
