Hi Forum,

anyone know if this Defender has a OBD or OBDII capability and where it would be located?

300tdi doesn't have OBD socket. Nor does it have an ECU. Functions old school. Bucket of fuel plus lung full of air equals combustion. 👍

Not sure what your goal is, what are your trying to achieve ? Perhaps there is already, or even simply, an alternatively simpler option.

The later ones came with electronic EGR module. Most people removed these haha 😆

If you're after comprehensive engine data readouts you may be better going for a madman gauge Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I have seen plenty of aftermarket instrumentation Edo digital which use OBD type connectors. So in lieu of obd is have senders supply same data which provides more choices

Just after the basic, oil, water speed rpm and dash information warning lights etc

I do believe the madman brand have a screen which you can plug into all the necessary senders and sensors to give information on one screen. For me though I would spend half that cash on some very nice dialls for each feature. You can get dials for all types of sensing you can even have a matching out side temperature dial it you like
