Just came across this company based on Anglesey:
"The commercial, survey, filming and event support business at RibRide means we need to have the ability to be anywhere in Northern Europe at the drop of a hat. That’s why we run the latest generation Defender. It can tow 3.5 tons, has excellent visibility when reversing (important when the Landy/RIB combo is longer that an articulated lorry) and very tough gearboxes. Sometimes we have to launch our RIBs in strange places so it’s nice to know you will always be able to drive away from the incoming tide up the mud/shingle/rock once the boat is recovered. At the end of a long day the level of ‘comfort’ is sure to keep you alert all the way home!" Working SVX, a full load of tomato and sharp pepper plants for the garden. That is a working Defender "Le Gen'vois staïle"...
Click image to enlarge For the outsiders not familiar with "Le Gen'vois staïle", here is a good educational clip explaining it. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |
