@ JOW
I can absolutely assure you there is no need for diff guards or steering protection in the Thetford area.......there is only one rock in that part of the world, by the old A11......it's about 100ft high and has a bloke on the top of it. If you hit that a bent diff casing will be the least of your worries 😀 MY15.5 110XS CSW 1956 88" S1 2004 Tomcat 106 Comp safari |

There's 3 of us confirmed at the moment (myself, Tomcat 106 and Stevie D) and I guess the fairest way is to do it is a first come first served basis.
Stupot - More than welcome to join. Merlin and JOW - If you're still wanting to come you'll make up the first 6. As you've already shown interest you should have first refusal. If more want to come we can put a couple of groups together I'm more than happy to put a couple of routes together with a common meeting place for us all to have lunch together. So as always, more the merrier! SG |

Just had a double check and there's more interest in this than I thought! List of names of people interested below:
Myself JOW Tomcat (confirmed) Tack Merlin Stevie D (confirmed) Stupot So we're already over the 6 limit if everyone is still coming on the 20th Feb and will need to go in two groups. I can sort all of that out with routes etc if those who haven't confirmed can do. Cheers! SG |

I've got no issue with it, no reason a days green laning shouldn't be a family day out. Pass the torch and all that!

They can open and close the two gates on the common! Always handy to have someone to do that, especially if it is bucketing down.

All sounds good to me! If everyone's happy with it I'd probably bring along SWMBO and kids (6 & 4)?

Evening all. I've received PMs from Jow, Merlin, Stevie D and Merlin making us a group of 5 so far. One space left and then I'll split us into two groups.
I'm going to look over the maps in the coming weeks so once I've done that I'll get in touch with all confirmed. Cheers. SG |

Quick update on this, and to show I've not forgotten about it! I've marked up my map with all of the lanes in and around Thetford and surrounding areas. Before I start planning any routes does anyone know of any lanes that are closed at the moment, or any that are open and shouldn't be missed?
I will plan a route and check the legality of all lanes before but if there's any information out there from people it would be helpful and appreciated. Cheers, SG |
