@AJC
Thanks,
Good thing is it seems everyone believes it's air getting in somewhere.
Hopefully with a bit of daylight and a dry weekend I should be able to investigate further.
Thing I really don't understand is that before all this started it was leaking fuel from the pipe union on the sender and yet still started every time on the button.
That's the reason I swapped the sender out in the first place last summer.
I'm thinking if fuel was leaking out at that point why didn't I have difficulties starting it then?
I'm confused Confused Cheers,
Andy...

Check pipe no.3 . (The L/H no.3)

There will be one between every injector. If they perish you will get that effect.

hi JFH, thanks, checked and rechecked yesterday - they all seem fine and the banjo bolts are all tight with no visible leaks.

I did also retighten the fuel pipe to sender union a fraction of a turn.
I'm worried about overtightening this though in case I break the plastic pipe on the sender again. Cheers,

Resolved - maybe...
Ok, I slackened and retighted the banjos on the spill rail and also the fuel pipe union on the sender.
Starting on the 1st turn now so I'm hoping that's it.
Thanks all for the suggestions. Cheers,
