Ah I just read the other thread where you mention the metallics guy making yours. I'll have a word with Allisport, cheers.

How'd you do the ducting from the heater to the roof tent? did the duct not lose a lot of heat due to the distance? and what material of hose did you use? I guess with your heater being outside of the truck you didnt have any issues with exiting the vehicle with the duct anyway..

If i was putting a tank on the 90 i wouldnt put it in the engine bay - i would put it under the drive passenger rear wing right behind the door.

With some simple tap filler arrangement. Mike

I used a flexible 60mm silicone hose that has a steel spiral in it to prevent it collapsing, heat loss was not a problem Thumbs Up managed to have over 20degrees in the tent when only 1 or 2 outside Very Happy

Filling rear wing tanks is awkward, the problem is where to fit a filler without drilling the body.

Excellent.

I looked under the front wing top earlier. I cant be arsed to move stuff, take it out and replace, though admittedly it would be great to put a spring catch on the blanking plate on the wingtop and have the tank underneath and fill it that way.

I have an aux tank under the o/s rear wing anyway, so the other place is n/s rear. I'm going for an eberspacher not a webasto, and i m going to fit it on the wheel box top n/s so a tank under there would make the most sense. its just filling it that will be a Censored so i m going to get someone to make one for me, probably in steel rather than alloy for the bracket strenth. May well have to fill using a pipe and funnel which isnt ideal. I guess I'll need a fill level indicator on the side of the tank

definitely not enough space under the wing top. So I'm looking at having a 1.5 gallon tank fabricated to go under the sill, but having the filler pipe go up into the wing top so the filler would be accessed via the blanking plate on the n/s wing. Going to put a spring loaded hinge on the back of it and a locking catch and that should be a pretty cool solution.

Thought that the near side vent was for the heater air intake?
