Advice on roof mounted light bar makes
My next plan for the new year is to fix a light bar to the Front Runner roof rack. This is for use in the country lanes of the south west and light off road trips to go camping. Would appreciate some advice on any options people have fitted as these seem to range from £150 to £700. Clearly the more you pay……..but I cannot afford top end or Lasers for a 40 in bar. What would you recommend?

Have seen versions from Ring and Vision (VisionXmitter) but no feedback on these compared to others. If you are selling a decent one do let me know.

Bear in mind that roof mounted lights have a tendency to light your bonnet up as much as the road in front.....

Another +1 for wilderness. I have 2 x 10inch duplex light bars on the front of my FD rax and the light they throw out puts a grin on my face every time. COTAG 4x4 Response

thanks all for options and ideas. I can see a pretty similar price point around £400 for many of these models. Now time to choose......

Before you go and spend loads of money on one, have you ever driven with roof lights?

I hate them. Just light up the rain in front of you.

Yes I have driven with roof spots before and getting the angle right is key. in really driving rain and fog then I just turn them off.
