2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Cairns Blue

Puma 2.2 engine code

Hi
Have a puma 2.2 which keeps getting engine fault p0101 how much air needs to leak out of the inter cooler hoses before code is flagged up

P0101 = Mass Air Flow Sensor

Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem

Same Problem

Have a butchers at my Honeymoon over Limp mode thread.

Might give you a couple of pointers!

2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Orkney Grey

There is a hole in one of your intercooler
Hose dude, or not seated properly or a clamp
Is not tight its leaking air

Thanks for that seems to be a slack hose clip on the turbo.

Loose hose

Excellent news, wish mine was that easy. New Intercooler on its way!

First problem !

Hi,
Have the same , strange noise under load and code P0101. (2.2 puma 2012 and 103.000 km )
Hope to find the leak but with so much under the bonnet, not yet find !
Phil current : defender 110 sw 2.2 puma 2012 and 230.000km today and
again my Range Rover VM2.5 engine from 1992 and 528.000km today.

One ten 1988 to 1992
1987 BMW GS80
One Ten from 1984 to 1987
One Ten from 1983 to 1984
Serie 3 109 from 1980 to 1983
from 1974 Jeep CJ3B and CJ6

Hi,
A cracket hose is the problem !
I did verify all of them , it was the lastone before the throtle .
Not a so easy job but happy it will run again.
