Today I finally got around to replacing the lower door seal on the drivers and passenger doors.
On opening the door, the door now feels more springy than before, so hoping its a good seal. But.....there is still a gap which I can see daylight through (circled) Click image to enlarge Which seal am I missing to stop A) Daylight B) Draught The daylight is the corner of the door where it meets the sill/B bottom of the B pillar The seal I fitted was http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Defen...SwrklVbvs~ (Gen LR part) 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

As a side note just ordered new rear door seals but have gone for the later Puma style ones as they look better than the L shaped rubber strips. I might consider doing the same to the front doors as well.
Just wondering, do the later Puma seals negate the need for the foam pads? 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

no because they have side rubber back and front but to fit them on older door isn't an easy job !
